In searching for a photograph for today's color challenge, I discovered that I don't often take pictures of orange things. However, I found this photo from last November of a particularly fiery sunset. I loved how it looked as though the hills were on fire. Though, it was also a little spooky given that the mountains had actually been on fire just the prior month.
At first glance I thought it was a forest fire. That's a good one. You got me!
The day I snapped it, I thought it was a forest fire at first. There had been a very vicious fire in the mountains just the prior month and there was still some danger of it recurring. But, luckily, it was just a very impressive sunset.
I had to zoom in to be sure. Lol. Very impressive sunset. Sunset pictures are always cool if you time it right. This one is picture perfect. Pun intended :)
I had to check twice if it was real fire or not. The colors are great

Thanks! It is a bit fuzzy because I snapped it just outside a moving car window, but I love the colors, too.
