I went to the Musink Festival in Orange County yesterday which is an annual southern California festival of music, tattoos and music. Blink 182 and Good Charlotte performed last night which was cool, but what really blew me away were the low riders on display. There were also the best tattoo artist there and about 50 people were getting tatted which was super weird.
But I want to dive into the low riders:
El Dorado with pin stripes and loaded with hydraulics - ready to bounce!
Ridiculous! It's so low you can't even drive it.
Candy Apple Red Cadillac with just the right amount of fleck in the paint
Here she is again!
Blink 182 performing, man there was a sea of people and it's mostly a blur because someone was passing around some strong weed (it's legal in California now, so what the hell).
I took the convertible from LA to Orange County down the coast. Drove along the Pacific Coast Highway through Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach and Palos Verdes before heading into Long Beach.
I pass this guy in a jacked up van. He blew his car horn at me when I grabbed this over the shoulder shot.
But you want to see more Cadillac don't you?
Mmmm Hmmmm
More? Okay...I got more...
Wait, was there an Impala?
I hope that satisfies your Impala urge.
A girl in a glitter body suit
A Ford van, lowrider style

Another one but in black
Concluded the evening at the Casa Adelita in the hood. It was wild. Live Mexican music and people were dancing on the tables. Nuts.
The music was good, the tattoo ink people were weird and the lowriders was where it was at for me. SoCal is the place if you're into car culture.
Nice
