Acapulco At Night: Power Outage Shots

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

It's been awhile since we've shared the nighttime view with you. Ironically enough these were taken while we didn't have power. Something to consider is that while my electricity is extremely unreliable, that's not really the norm here. Most people experience few hour outages at the most and they aren't common.

As you can see, the weather was fine. The power goes out here rain or shine.

I saw there was another big quake out there with buildings collapsing! Mexico has been hit constantly lately. Strength to you all.
I finally managed to complete the edited version of your first post. Please have a look :)

Mexico has indeed been afflicted by hurricanes and earthquakes this year, last year was so quiet compared to this

Great Pics as usual... Looks like there are lots without electricity.

Nope, consider that most of the tops of these mountains aren't inhabited because of government regulation. So it looks like theres a lot out but to the trained eye you can see that's just where the people stop.

I've never seen shots of it at night, that is really something.

You did a great job of capturing different filtered looks and angles there, very nice work you!

+1

Wow! Thats an amazing view, your house must be in a really perfect spot. To be watching this view every morning with sunrise, seems like a paradise. Great quality photos as always Lily. I wish I can visit Acapulco some day, it looks like a special place on earth. Have a good night.

Acapulco is an amazing place to be. The view is always different and always spectacular. Right now it's raining aha

I bet its beautiful there even when raining! And I'm pretty sure there is same like here in the southern Vietnam, always warm? So raining is not so bad. Except when it rains so much that the streets start flooding..

It gets chilly on the mountaintops. We're lucky enough to live in this bay so the flooding just rushes into the bay and the beaches are steep so it takes a lot before things can get really bad here.

Awesome collection, nice job!!!

Excellent photography..!❤️🌸

Those are SIIIIIICKKKK shots!!!
