Ho Ho Ho what did i get as a present for the Christmas?
I got Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G and i am super happy about it.
As a photographer beginner, i must say this is the best lens of the ones i own. I didn't think that the lens can make such a huge difference, but it truly does!
If you are thinking of what lens to get and you do not own Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G or 50mm f/1.8G, consider and buy it.
It is not suitable for the landscapes of course, but does a great great job for portraits photography and product photography.
I would also add that the difference between the lenses with zoom and without zoom is huge and it is much easier to take pics with solid (can i say like that?) lenses!
Super happy with my new lens, but what do professional photographers say?

I am sure you can do a lot with this lens. It is around USD 200 cost. Nikkor (the brand of Nikon lenses) 35mm F/1.8G
