"Stone ship" is called by the Greek poet Yannis Ritsos, the magical Monemvasia. Where the wild stone meets the sea and the flowers !!

“Πέτρινο καράβι¨, την ονομάζει ο ποιητής μας Γιάννης Ρίτσος, την μαγική Μονεμβασιά. Εκεί που ανταμώνει η άγρια πέτρα, με το θαλασσί της ελληνικής θάλασσας και το μενεξεδί των λουλουδιών.
Μεσα σε αυτή την ονειρεμενη καστροπολιτεια, πίσω από τα μεσαιωνικά τείχη, βρίσκονται βυζαντινες εκκλησιές, επιβλητικά αρχοντικά, γραφικά καλντερίμια, που όλα εναρμονίζονται με την αρχιτεκτονική δομη της πολης.
Ενας τόπος που αξιζει να βρεθεις, καθως θα σε ανταμειψει με τις ομορφιες του,τοθς φιλοξενους ανθρωπους του, τα νοστιμα εδεσματα του και θα γεμισει την ψυχη σου με την απιστευτη ενεργεια και αύρα του!
Εκεί που η εποχη μας συναντα και αναβιωνει τα μεσαιωνικα χρονια, μεσα από τις ευωδιες, τα χρώματα, το τοπιο και την ιστορια !
