When the drought was at its worst, a few neighbors didn't care and watered their lawns anyway. We didn't and as you can see, the grass was quite dead from a lack of water.
Most of our neighbors yards were as yellow and dead as ours was, but it's funny and interesting to see the contrast between how our yard looked and theirs.
We live in a different neighborhood now and luckily the drought didn't last forever even though it was really dry for many years.
Hopefully climate change will not kill us all too soon. :P hehehe
