Bullfighting

in #photography8 years ago

First of all before saying anything else I am very much against the suffering of animals and I have for a long time considered bullfighting to be a very cruel activity. Yet at the same time this does represent a bit of Spanish culture and history.

So I decided to go into a bullfighting arena today to see what it looks like from the inside. As a Child I went to one of these with my father but I can barely recall what I saw and lived there.

Im mostly against this sort of thing, but here in Spain there is a huge political divide that has people very split on opinion regarding if this should be allowed and even sponsored by our government.

What do you think about bullfighting? Personally Im always cheering for the bulls, that may sound cruel but end of the day as the rules state no bull will leave the ring alive....

Sort:

Wow...interesting post. I'd cheer for the bull too!

I hate that these magnificent beasts are made to suffer for the crowd. #TeamBull
