- The most powerful visual for me is a painting or photo that makes me want to drop my reality and be in that reality, if even for just a moment. Nothing has given me this sensation stronger than the paintings of Thomas Kinkade... Those idyllic cottages, cobblestoned streets and purely magical nature scenes have captured my imagination for years.

Thanks =) .. Yeah, not sure if he knew when starting out, but he sure did know as he got into it. Apparently he was quite arrogant and was quite the controversial figure... So often the case with great talent (thinking of Beethoven now, and Van Gogh).
