Walking tours are the best way to explore Europe if you're short on time, haven't had time to plan your holiday and are ready to soak it all in while ambling around the best spots in the city. Here are some highlights from our walking tour in Bruges, Belgium-
Church of Our Lady
The origin of the Half Moon brewery symbol - apparently wherever you see this half moon, there is alcohol nearby..
A hospital built entirely by women for women. They were big on caring for widows through a sustainable community.
So many lakes and canals in this gorgeous city. You're never too far from a lovely photo-point!
And just because swans make me want to take a deep breath and slow down :). Our tour guide had an elaborate story as to why Bruges is home to so many swans! Oddly enough, it involved an Austrian prince, kidnapping, ransom and murder! The mysteries of history :)
