To be honest I am not a big fan of tattoos... they can spoil a beautiful model if they are applied poorly. I reduced the colors in your image to see if there were hotspots which took the focus away from your subject and I wonder if a neutral background might change things..
Consider this subject: Source having a neutral background and reducing the pallette to monochrome changes the focus on this image..
