To my embarrassment I forgot the name of the species of the flowers in the vase. My wife forgot them, too. She's way too busy to look into it now. If you can help by positively identifying, these I'll be grateful.
I have a hunch that this red one is a member of the rosae family.
But the white ones?
It's the Carnation :) I remember it as we were getting it for the International Women's Day when I lived back home in Slovakia :)
It's not important to remember the name. It's important to appreciate the flower and people who gifted them to us :)
