There's always a life you want to live in this world.
When poetry and distance become my heart's longing, firewood, rice, oil and salt will turn into my heart's vulgarity, secular disturbance, the triviality of life makes people exhausted, tearing open the fake strong mask, is all tired body and godless pupil.
Every day, I repeat my work in less than 50 square meters of space, but I fantasize about the magnificence of 95,000 kilometers in the book. I think, stop busy daily shuttle in the busy city, to a lonely journey, a person slowly experience, quiet thinking, in the journey to rediscover themselves.
Many people who live in cities will feel the pressure from the outside world. They need to learn how to mediate in their lives, get out of their comfortable life circle when confused, and go to the outside world to see more. During the journey, they can teach people how to grow up.
It is for this purpose that in the past ten years, I have ridden 10,000 kilometers while working, over Sichuan, Tibet, Qinghai, Yunnan, Taiwan, Guangdong, Hunan, through Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and more than a dozen Asian countries. This year's trip to Laos is my last ride in Southeast Asia.
In the hearts of most people, Laos seems to be a mysterious and unknown backward country, but it is such a place, but it is the happiest country in Southeast Asia.
Peaceful, tranquil and easy to satisfy, the Lao people are more inclined to be comfortable, without the confusion of fame, wealth and status. Every day they do it at sunrise and sunset. For them, life itself is not boring, and faith is the whole of life.
In Luang Prabang, the distribution of alleys is more respectful than that of foreigners'streets where tourists are crowded. Grandma is more relaxed without the shot of old mage's long guns and short guns, and is not disturbed by the bustling sirens around her.
More attention should be paid to the children of poor families in the corner of the street, who receive only food that the monks do not want for the second time, than to the monks in the temples where tourists give enthusiastically.
Children occasionally get candy other than glutinous rice. They will be happy for a long time. The simplicity of Laos is that poor children are less likely to ask for money from you. Maybe they just want simple happiness in getting food.
On Wanrong's Blue Lagoon, two children joined the diving team one by one. They jumped into the green pool of more than ten meters one by one, encouraged by adult tourists for $1.
When the tourists left, the children continued to play the role of divers again and again. When the physical overdraft was over, the children looked forward to a few trips. Customers can give a $1 reward.
When Luang Prabang meets 4 degrees Lao beer in 40 degrees weather, crowded passers-by crowded into a huge dance floor. Tourists join in the water splashing war, holding up the world's best Lao beer, greeting strangers on the road, toasting each other, and sipping under 4 degrees alcohol.
For most people, the countryside is a place with beautiful scenery and fresh air. The countryside may carry our childhood memories, grow up to be a pure land in the noise, a quiet place in the materialistic society. The greatest feeling of coming to Laos countryside is the simplicity of children and the simple pleasure of splashing water with small partners.
Seeing that the taxi price is so expensive, I went to the motorcycle shop and rented a motorcycle to go shopping in the countryside. The price of 100 yuan a day is acceptable. The fuel tank of the motorcycle in Laos is generally small, and it is not the kind of special fuel-saving. After more than 20 kilometers of filling up, it disappeared and went to the public in the countryside. At the gas station, we found that the price of gasoline here is not cheap either. The price of a liter of gasoline is about 10,000 Kip/liter (gasoline), about 1.2 U.S. dollars/liter.
As the largest donor of Laos, Japan is not China, but Japan, because Japan's annual aid to Laos has been more than US$100 million in material and technical support. Japanese automobiles also basically monopolize the Lao market. As the largest importer of Japanese scrap cars in Southeast Asia, the price of used Japanese automobiles It's very cheap. Many local people can afford used Japanese cars.
During the Sprinkling Festival, many families will choose the way of outing to eat "New Year's Eve dinner", come to the river, eat barbecued food, wear Lao beer, eat glutinous rice, after the first day of the New Year, people began to splash water and swim, begging to wash away all the bad luck. The Lao people will also choose to go to the mountains in the morning to set free, put water lamps and skylights in the evening to pray for peace and prosperity in the four seasons.
On the day of Water Sprinkling Festival, Laos people will hold the ritual of bathing Buddha. This is to shower Buddha statues in temples. Some Temple monks will dip bamboo leaves in a few drops of water to bathe Buddha and sprinkle it on your head to express their blessings and prayers. Many people who go to temples to bathe Buddhas collect such baskets of leaves and flowers. Laotians wear new clothes for the New Year, then carry special utensils and water soaked with flowers to the temple for Buddha bathing ceremony.
When I came to my local friend's home for New Year's Eve dinner, I saw that there was little meat on the table. Although the New Year's meal would be more plentiful, there would be shredded meat, more soup and eggs, these things were really poor compared with the Chinese New Year, but the vegetables in Laos were still very natural and green. It is said that they will not add fertilizer or growth promoter to vegetables, because they can not afford to buy at all. In Laos, glutinous rice is the most produced. It is really delicious.
Although Laos is the only landlocked country in Southeast Asia, the Lao people wear tropical beach-style shirts for the New Year. They also like to wear ponytails. Don't think many Lao beautiful women are black. They also pay much attention to sunscreen. Even in the hot summer of 40 degrees, they wear long sleeves to go out for sunscreen.
Coming to the famous Xiangtong Monastery in the early morning, from the beginning of the Westerner Street, there are many monks giving alms along the Long Street from 6 o'clock every morning. The devout local residents will sit on the roadside and ride a group of hot glutinous rice to the passing monks. In Laos, almost everyone believes in Buddhism. They believe in Hinayana Buddhism. The value of Hinayana Buddhism is to realize self-value, so every Lao people will come home once in their life.
Luang Prabang is the famous ancient capital of Laos and an important center of Buddhism. The capital of the ancient Lancang Kingdom is located on both sides of the Mekong River, with beautiful scenery. Ancient temples are located in the central area of Luang Prabang and can be basically reached on foot.
