That is interesting. Actually, it is a blending of multiple exposure (4 shots) using luminosity masks. to increase the dynamic range. Sounds like hdr for me :) Or you mean something else?
Yeah it is, but what I meant to this exact photo is this stone in the middle, if the bottom side was a little brighter (pick shadows up) it would look better, but still it's only my opinion. It doesn't change that this photo is cool! :)
