If I wanted to go out to the beach for instance and it ended up pouring down with rain I would always have one alternative option that would fill my day and in some cases free up others. Being a little flexible often helps a great deal when going on a holiday, it would truly suck to spend most of my holiday locked up in the room.
An example of pre planning is when I took a trip out to Sydney, Australia. I had not been there before and had planned to arrive in the early hours to enjoy some main attractions, especially the opera house. This would have been after a pretty long flight and I wanted to make the most of my half day. This wasn’t meant to be however as my flight was delayed significantly and I didn’t end up at the hotel until the late hours. However all was not lost, I decided to make the most of my time with a lovely dinner out where I initially had planned to go before and then a relaxing evening stroll around harbour. Being a little flexible and dynamic worked out in my favour considerably on this occasion and the planning that I had done beforehand paid out in dividends during my trip. I saved so much time and got so much more out of my experience.
Great shots. Well done.
