Did a photoshoot for Artist G Star. On the left is original shot coming out of Lightroom with some basic processing on the right is the image after some more surgery in photoshop. The best images always start in camera when you get the focus, composition and exposure right. Post processing is the icing on the cake but it sure does make an image sing. Here we did some colour grading, adding some more blur to the background, airbrushed the car out, some skin retouching and some selective sharpening. We do it in small incremental steps and it sure does make a difference. Photoshop is essential.

Really? Interesting. I am partial to more cinematic treatments hence the slight green cast in the colors. The original had issues with the blue fringes around the greenery on the wall in BG. However, I think the next issue is the halo on the left arm still needs to come out. Everyone has their eye for what looks good nothing is wrong with that...
