Nice to see your photo that demonstrates some real situation image-making practices. I love the lens and use it almost exclusively for portraiture. I don't find that the lack of VR is a drawback as I always shoot fairly fast (higher iso) and haven't noticed any motion blur problems. The focus isolation of your subject is supreme. It does everything I expected it to and is great. Amazing shot!
