Introduction:
This term refers to the art or process of designing the interior (yes, sometimes exterior too) of a room, a building or anyplace where you make yourself “in a room”, simply. But for the sake of sophistication, I can say it as an art or science of understanding people’s behavior to create functional spaces within a building.
Why interior designing?
Now the thing is how it helps? Why it’s becoming essential? The answer is imagine yourself sitting on a bed with clean and tidy sheets, a lovely fireplace and a perfectly ordered study table on the sides leaving the front with a Persian rug on a plain textured carpet and a vintage leather couch. OR go with the scenario with you in crumbled sheets, a bunch of laundry on the floor at left and a hushed-up study table at right and all the untidy stuff you can think of. Clearly the former one creates a frustrated mind just by sitting idle, it is like frustration from nowhere! While the earliest scene is just a place to relax for hours with your journal or magazine you like. Quite mind-soothing isn't it? Same goes with the workplaces. A simple arrangement can affect a lot on the performance of the staff.
So, we learn that the most economical usage of space in a well-organized and artistic manner is what interior designing all about.
How exactly it works:
Again we ask ourselves, how is this decorating thing going to play the part exactly? Ok, this maybe an odd trick but simple color schemes of walls and the furniture even are the one of the most essential components of interior designing. A nice contrast between the furnish work and the wallpapers is the key to the appeal. Either way, dark color schemes are present where intense events take place like courtrooms or interrogation rooms etc. Generally, in homes a bright color scheme is adjusted plus moderate contrast levels also help to give a wider and larger visual impact. Still dark and high contrasts are selected by the bold beauty admirers. A bit decoration and lightings are to get the experience go calm and enjoyable.
But here, is a common doubt between designing and decorating. So, in the simplest way you should know is that interior designers may decorate but the decorators don’t design. Because, other than just decoration interior designing is also the emphasis on planning, functional design and effective use of space as compared to interior decorating.
Hire or Become an Interior designer:
OK. If all the time reading this you have been thinking to hire an interior designer for your new home or workplace so here is the thing that if you can really afford there are lots of interior designers around willing to help you to make that one DREAM HOUSE of yours. The best way to find them steadily at your home, search on Linked In, go through their portfolios, have a look at their works and decide which may be the most creative and economical for you. If you are wanting this innovation for your house then I must suggest to be at your own. All you need is a good aesthetic sense and if you don’t have much then just simply start by staring at your intended empty room and think of all the beautiful things you could do to it.
