Introduction

An interesting point is that its architect is an Iranian.The Lotus Temple is a lily-shaped building made up of 27 petals featuring rectangular marble. This architectural masterpiece is the work of the Persian architect Fariborz Sahaba, who received numerous awards for this fantastic design.

Lotus Temple or the Lotus Temple is one of the most beautiful and most magnificent temples in India, located in New Delhi. This unique temple was launched in December 1986 on an area of 26 hectares, and since then, in addition to being a sacred place for worship, it is also one of Delhi's most popular tourist attractions.

The architecture of this temple is a 9-sided circular shape, each of 9 sides of the building has three petals and 9 large doors open to the central hall and the lighting of the building, which is made of petals of this building.

But the Niloofar flower in the Aryan belief (including the Persians and the Hindus) is a symbol of manifestation and emergence, and its petals represent the classes of the universe. The Niloofar flower has always had a sacred position in Iranian thought and architecture, which Fariborz Sahaba has also cleverly used in the design of this building.
