I drove several hours to discover this beauty. This is a set of old pier pylons out in the Pacific Ocean located in a small town called Davenport California. I recommend a visit. Im using my Canon 7D and my 85mm 1.8 lens. This exposure was about 45 minutes, taken on a clear night with a full moon. Zoom in and you can even see the birds mostly sat still.

What would you think of a nomadic tribe of artists/thinkers/tinkers/microanarchists, as an itinerant, non-centralistic place from which to dominate the world?
Or even better, just no domination at all?great mystic atmo in this picture! thanks @mgarsteck.
I believe that you just stumbled upon my plans for world domination..........
I read your profile ;)
I ran a nomadic project for some time; we set up temporary villages with the Bus as a townhall...
tiny weeny world domination ;)
No kidding!? Im working with my group of nomad friends to buy bits of property all over the place. Im looking at a big piece of property up in Oregon. The goal is to build Earth Ships/Eco Houses and a place for nomads to travel to.
here's the setup of the very first Nomadic Village in Bulgaria.

here is the blog of the 'Nomadic Village' project:

its a bit messy..... you can also find it on fb...
Now we are also looking for a piece of land as a place for nomads to arrive.
Wow! Thats an awesome piece of property. Seeing this picture got me even more stoked to move forward with this project.

Do you have the full information of your settings? ISO, Aperture, etc?
I had the aperture all the up to give the least amount of light so I could have the longest exposure. The ISO was 100 to keep quality the best.
That photo is great! Perfect slow shutter photo with great atmospheric result
Thank you, glad you like it. More to come soon.
awesome shot.amazing you got the birds in the shot.
