It rained very hard all night and is still raining, but I noticed the sun breaking through the clouds in the distance. Looking for a rainbow.
I was not able to find a better place to take a shot, but the rainbow was beautiful.
I also roamed the yard a little looking for anything new or beautiful. Using an plant identification app for the first time to possibly identify some of the plants that are not indigenous to where I grew up.
Clausena lansium, also known as wampee or wampi, is a species of strongly scented evergreen trees 3–8 m tall, in the family Rutaceae, native to southeast Asia. Its leaves are smooth and dark green. White flowers in late March are white, with four or five petals, about 3–4 mm in diameter. Wikipedia
Perhaps someone local to the Philippines has a local name for this tree. I am told the fruit is not edible.
Billygoat Weed, Tropical Periwinkle, White Vinca Flower
Madagascar Periwinke
Balsam, Garden Balsam
Impatiens balsamina
Chinese Hibiscus or locally Gamamela
Also identified as a Madagascar Periwinkle.
