Saw these #icicles hanging from a garage roof as I was #walking home from a dear friend, thought I'd share some of the cold #north to #steemit .

Aye, that is correct, they usually form when the days grow above zero centigrades, the direct light melts the snow and it freezes again as it "drips" into the shadow.
