These are some of my favorite bird shots taken during spring and summer this year in Alabama. I took all of these with a Canon T5i DSLR paired with a Canon 55-250mm IS STM lens. I haven't shared these images anywhere before!
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Eastern Towhee
Blue Jay
Cedar Waxwing
These birds come in flocks and lay waste to any tree with berries on it.
Red-Bellied Woodpecker
Northern Cardinal
Female
Male
Red Naped Sapsucker
American Robin

In case you missed them, here are a few bird shots I've already shared on steemit.
Northern Cardinal
This mother was feeding her baby. It was really cool to see! You might notice the mother is losing her feathers on her head. Apparently some birds go bald during molting. She'll regrow her head feathers soon.
Mockingbird
Great Blue Heron

Let me know if you think this is too many photos for a single post!
Nope! Not too many imo.
Wow man, those birds are aweosme!
OMG This is so beautiful !!
Hummingbird is my animal spirit !The meaning of the Hummingbird symbol was to signify peace, love and happiness. YES PLEASE !!!

Love looking at all the different types of birds, wonderful shots!
Thank you, birdie!
Amazing bird photos, nice job!
Thank you!
Wow, that's beautiful!
I've been trying to get some hummingbirds around here but they're just too quick for me, never stay still long enough.
I especially love hummingbirds, but you're looking at some of my only shots of them! It's a nightmare trying to get sharp focus while they dart all over the place in 3 dimensions, hovering for just a second to tease me a little and make me think I'm about to get it.
That's some lovely shots of pretty birds.
Thanks for sharing! Following and upvoting.
Thank you!
Wow! beautiful shots again loving them.
I especially like the first bird the Ruby throated hummingbird and the feathers on the bottom of it's neck they look just like fish scales how amazing!
Love your work :)
Thank you! The hummingbirds are definitely my favorite, too.
Haha -- the photos of the Cedar Waxwing, Cardinal, and American Robin sure show why privet bushes are taking over! Those privets put on so many berries and the birds love to eat them - and then spread the seeds far and wide, with a little fertilizer boost! Great photos!
They sure do love those bushes!
It gives you a nice spot to see the birds, that's for sure!
Beautiful shots:)
Thank you!
Good shots!
Still love the Kardinal shot better. It's a memory of the 2 years I lived in Kansas City where one of the nearer big city is St Louis Cardinals. OK, I know you spelled differently but I think it's the same kind of bird.
Spectacular shots, really well done!
Loving your work!
I enjoyed the photos. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing captures!! Thanks for sharing!
