Oh snap, I'm like System's Admin/Network Engineer - All in one, small company, so I get to play all the roles from designing a network from scratch with new servers (small business 5 - 50 users) to just doing helpdesk stuff.
cool, I'm like that for a place I volunteer as the admin/engineer. My day job duties are very segregated though. I do very specific parts of the network here only so there's a lot of processes to go through just to get something done. Nice to meet another network guy on here :)
right, yeah I have dealt with a couple of Government system, and the level of protocols you guys have to go through for any change is crazy, but you are also dealing with so much bigger networks that I am, and nice to you meet you as well fellow Network guy!
I have noticed that a lot of us end up taking some creative skills.
our brains are too categorized and organized to not do something else productive. At least that is how I am. lol
