I was trying to figure out why it is called a fishing spider and sitting on a tree, so I quickly looked on wikipedia. Apparently there is one specific type that dwells in trees, called D. albeneus. This must be the one that you found. I am always amazed by the ability of certain of God's creatures to camouflage so well. I loved your post. Kudos for you holding the creepy crawly, though. Snakes, well, okay. Spiders, well, no way!
