Got outside for a little walk and took a few photos.
The place I took these is called Glade Creek Trail.
If you saw my post A Walk in the Park that was taken at Grandview State Park in WV , The Glade Creek Trail is located just about a 10 min drive from that park.
The trail runs about 5.6 miles and follows the creek which ends up flowing into the New River.
You can hike , mountain bike, fish, swim, and even kayak when the water levels are right.
And some more pics.
Some time it pays to look up .
This bridge known as the Glade Creek Bridge is one of the top 10 highest bridges in North America and the Worlds
tallest truss bridge.
It stands at 700 feet . so all you base jumpers out there sorry you're not allowed to jump off of it, but don't worry West Virginia still has a bridge (New River Gorge Bridge) that stands at 876 feet and 1 day out of the year they do allow you to base jump off of it.
I'm sure I will be out there every chance I get taking more pics. hope you enjoyed these pics.
Great shots of the river and tour of the park.
