Yup, on the lower left it's the church and the cemetery (over here the cemetery is usually surrounding a church.

As for a close-up, I've only done some photos from my family's site (my brother's and father's resting place). People in my country are not very happy to see a person with a camera roaming around and clicking, especially on these places. So, I'm trying to avoid confrontations, as it's highly likely to be perceived as offensive or as an attempt to ridicule grieving people. Far fetched philosophy, I know, but...what can you do :)

Also, since I have you here, I'm not sure how I feel about posting a photo of my brother's tombstone. It's epic (well, at least in his - and my - ideal), but I still feel kinda awkward. So, how would you feel about it? I don't have a problem that it's my family's grave site, but simply posting an image of a tomb...I don't know. Although, there are some interesting places, however fucked up interesting sounds here...

What say you? Opinionate freely, please! :)

I understand if there are cultural morays discouraging cemetery photography. Please, don’t do anything with which you are uncomfortable, or that may endanger you.

As for me, I’m drawn to cemeteries as photograph topics. In my culture, there’s actually a recognized genre of cemetery photography. Personally, I find such places melancholy, yet peaceful, and illuminating. There’s a story, a history to every gravestone and to every cemetery. And, I feel, we have a duty in every generation to remember and to honor the memories of the dead – even if there’s no one we know in that particular cemetery. We mustn’t let these places and the people each grave represents be forgotten, relegated to dust.

Well that's quite an interesting thought, first time for me to hear about cemetery photography.

I like how you think about it, and that is, as just another photography subject. Due to the culture and mentality here, I've never been there - to think about it in a normal manner. It's funny how our surroundings can impede on our thinking liberty sometimes :)

Thanks again, you kind of inspired me, so the next time I go I'll try to find some interesting composition and I'll share it here :)

I look forward to seeing them. Be sure to let me know if/when you post them.

Of course I will, but speaking of letting others know something, other than a mention, I'm not sure how can I do it...?

Even then, there are no notifications...so is there an easy way to do it? Also, is there an easy way to follow up on events as checking my blog, posts, comments, replies manually every minute can be a bit distracting, you know... :) The FAQ's say that there are notifications, but not for me...

Sorry for nagging, I'm still learning...

Replies are the only direct notifications on Steemit. But, you can drop a reminder in a comment on one of my posts to let me know you’ve posted those pictures.

OK, that works fine. I'll let you know as soon as I have something :)

Thanks again! :)
