Yes it is indeed. It is true, even if the street is empty you see signs of history and traces of the recent past even if it is just a phrase written on the wall or a sticker in a light pole. Also you can get lost in the small streets, sooner or later you make a turn and find yourself in the busiest street all of the sudden. It is a very charming and unique city.

I love Barcelona, and usually you tend to see a lot of photos of the most emblematic buildings, which is fine, I love them. But Barcelona is more, and these photos reflect that more very well.
