Goooood day readers! How are you? Wanted to share this beautiful street art and colourful photo.
I said in a post that I wanted to do a series of photos of all the amazing street art around my city. It's unbelievable how many talented artists we have here, most of them not having the regognition they deserved.
This is a prime example of a graffiti in Porto Alegre downtown where it's not only colourful, but it's in favour of a cause.

The phrase painted there says in Portuguese "A liberdade é como a manhã, há quem espera dormindo. No entanto, há quem acorda e caminha a noite para alcançala."
Freedom is like the morning, there are those who wait asleep. However, there are those who wake up and walk at night to reach it.
I'll not go into the political meaning of this photo and phrase, nor I'll pick a side, as I don't know much about the history behind it. However, I need to give credits to this phase to Subcomandante Marcos.
Subcomandante Marcos was the nom de guerre used by Rafael Sebastián Guillén Vicente (born 19 June 1957), Mexican insurgent and former leader and spokesman of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) during the Chiapas conflict. It's beautiful. Hats off to the artist for creating it and also giving attention to every small detail. There are so many small designs and patterns which just adds to the beauty of the entire art. I love the quote, it's so inspiring.

Isn't it cool those grafitti? There are so many around my city, and people pass by them every day without even noticing. One day I'll take the time to photograph them, some are incredibly detailed.
