The scorpion is a group of eight-legged animals (octopods) belonging to the order of Scorpiones in the Arachnida class. Scorpions are still related to ketonggeng, spiders, mites, and warts. There are about 2000 types of scorpions. They are mostly found south of 49 ° U, except New Zealand and Antarctica.
