Currently, almost a thousand people are surviving in temporary shelter barracks. Rohingya ethnic people who fled and were expelled from their own country due to the conflict that has not yet subsided in Myanmar.
They consist of adult men, women and children who are now living in temporary refugee barracks.
Currently they are accommodated and financed by the UHNCR agency which is a UN agency.
Every day, they are given assistance and also strict supervision from security forces at the refugee shelter barracks in Indonesia. Even though there is assistance, they want to live freely like ordinary people in general.
Living in a refugee barracks has many risks. Especially in the health sector. Because being confined to a barracks is not the same as in our own home. Everything you need is limited. Therefore, they are very susceptible to disease.
