RE: Camping Pictures including sunrises, campfires, and a full moon!

in #photography7 years ago

That looked like a great time. I love the pictures. You have a pretty good camera to be able to capture the moon like that. It looked like you guys were burning hardwoods for fuel. That is nice. I am from Southeast Texas, so we never really had fires often, but usually when we did it was pine, and up here in Idaho, almost everything is pine or fir. I will be doing a video about firewood. It was a struggle for us the entire time. Great pictures. I look forward to the day when we all celebrate this time together in the Kingdom.

Thanks for checking out the pictures! Yes it was a great time and I look forward to it every year! The camera I use is a Canon Powershot SX40, with 35x manual zoom. I was able to get the moon pictures with just the Auto settings. It is a sweet camera that I have been using for years. Using the camera from a phone just can't take the place of a "real" camera. As for the firewood, yes lots of hardwood and we save up wood from throughout the year to burn. Once we start the fire we make sure it does not go out for the entire week. I look forward to see what you have to say about firewood. And most defiantly looking forward to celebrating this and everything else with all the brothers and sisters in the Kingdom to come!
