Mar del Plata is a city located in the southeast of the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the coast of Argentine Sea. It is the head of the party of General Pueyrredón, a major port and beach resort and the second city of country's most important tourism after Buenos Aires as in summer the population can increase by 400%, so it has a great deal of hotel infrastructure. Highway 2 after the 414 km link with Buenos Aires and is located 365 km from La Plata.


It was founded with its current name on 10 February 1874 by Patricio Peralta Ramos, in a room of his own, based on the second of three extinct Jesuit Missions of the Pampa, founded in the second half of the eighteenth century, called our Lady of the Pillar of Puelches, who later received the name of "Puerto de la Laguna de los Padres" 1
