This was just before leaving from Muscat, an evening taking a walk at the Marina. It is one of my favorite places for walks and the feeling is always good out here. Our day-to-day life has so many of these things around us which can be good for our mood and mind. This place I have been visiting since the last 9 years and I have seen it growing and stretching out. So many new buildings have come up, a part of the sea has been reclaimed for their expansion project. It is so wonder sometimes, how we keep taking a part of nature and then keep converting it to our concrete jungles.
Who can be blamed for this? Not one person or body, everyone is equally responsible for it. Because there is a demand for it and hence the supply is also created. We want fancy things in our life, whether it is the place we live or the things we use and majority of our day to day requirements and need gets fulfilled through nature. Very few people believe in living a minimal life. Everyone wants more these days. I will not deny that I am also a part of this. I also desire fancy living place, so if I would have that kind of money, probably I will buy a house like this.
What will be our planet like in the next 50 years, will it still be green or will it be brown, I do not like that brown color in nature much, except sometime to see some mountains it feels nice but otherwise I enjoy the green pastures of nature. Even the Oceans, we keep conquering them, exploring them, utilizing all the resources it gives. With the way we utilize our resources, will there be anything left for our future generations. I guess future generations are all going to be heavily technology dominated, they may not even miss nature. It is like when you have something and it goes away you miss it, but if you have not had it only in the first place then there is no question of missing it.
Taken some pictures during the walk
The water is crystal clear and even at night time I can see the fishes clearly in the water
Our life is a such a beautiful experience on our planet Earth, the amount of eco-diversity that is found here, is not yet discovered on any other planet. I will say our planet is like the most expensive gem in the whole of cosmos as of now and we need to take care of this precious gem.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
Blue lights and their reflection in water is quite amazing love the photography.
Yes, the lights add a lot of beauty
I hope, Ma'am @nainaztengra that it will not come to the point that our future generation will just know the plants, animals, and other organisms in the picture. I can't imagine our planet without plants, animals, and other living organisms.
I know, it will be a sad state of affairs, but that's where our generation plays a very important role to thrive all of the nature and not destroy it.
The nightly atmosphere looks great for inner reflection, especially if the full moon was around. We've definitely damaged a good portion of our planet with our collective wants and desires, but I'm hopeful that things will change for the better in the future, especially with the help of new inventions.
Yes, it's working both ways and I am also hopeful that we with our realizations will do enough to thrive the planet.
Very nice place. I like that place.
yeah, whether green or brown, colours are our personal preferences and prolly developed over time. Your post reminded me of how I was accustomed to perceive mountains as brown structures (as I grew up seeing those old Aravali ranges in Rajasthan) that we always used to draw & colour all mountains as brown in our school drawing classes. But when I moved in dense forests of hilly Assam, it was green all over. This actually made me ask my parents whether mountains can be green too. It really took me a lot of time to perceive those hills as real mountains and to draw & colour them as green, lol!.
That's what happened to me when I shifted to Muscat, I was always used to seeing green and I did know that the brown also exists but still it took me a long time to get accustomed to living near it.

I hope artificial plants won't take over our planet in the next 50years with the way things are going. Just like in the movie (the lorax)
It is the responsibility of our generation to bring these changes which are good for our planet
