Flowing with the Season

It's the festive season and there is so much cheer all around. Last evening me and hubby decided to go to the mall, he had a few things to buy and we just wanted to spend some leisure time there. It is one of the biggest mall in my area and also one of my favorite. I have mentioned about it before also. On every festival the decor they do here is something to admire. Reaching till the Mall was not an issue, but once we reached there it was so crowded and there was a long car queue for parking, at that time I felt we selected a wrong day to come. For a moment we thought of returning back looking at the parking queue but then hubby said lets wait for sometime and see. After some time luckily we got a small passage to get into the parking lot and also found a parking place.

The mall was super crowded yesterday and I was honestly not enjoying it. Now I am used to fewer people around in Oman for a long time, so when there is too much crowd it makes me uncomfortable. Honestly, this is the first time that I am wanting to go back to Muscat soon, and I am really thinking should I shift back to Mumbai or not. Because traffic, pollution, people it's all crazy here in Mumbai, whereas in Muscat everything is so peaceful and life is easy going. I enjoy going to the beach and mountains there, whereas here even though there is a beach I do not go, because it's super crowded and people make it so dirty that it's impossible to walk bare feet. At the same time, home is here and all my people are here which keeps bringing me back to Mumbai. All this while I wanted to shift back to Mumbai but this is the first time where I am having second thoughts. Hubby says, lets go with the flow.

Anyways, coming back to the Mall, the lighting and decoration as always is stunning complimenting the festive theme. This time they had Reindeers and stars inside the mall and in the courtyard a huge Christmas tree with a star. But I liked the last year tree more then this one, this is also nice but last year one looked very classy.

It is all very bright and colorful and it surely makes you feel festive. With so many people around I was feeling like as if the whole city had gathered here. We did some shopping and then had our dinner at one of the pubs there and then back home.
