MAKING GREAT PHOTOS FOR INSTAGRAM

in #photography7 years ago

Casual Photography

After almost a year on Instagram, with almost 20,000 followers I discovered that what makes me gain more followers is posting a good image or photo along with a good description and story.behind every great picture it’s a lot of work.I’m not a photographer at all but I discovered some good tips of how to make great photos besides the camera the secrets in the tricks.

First of all, before making a photo, I think about setting, then I go around an area of the city where I think I’ll find a good setting, I take my camera with me, to test the sitting alone without me on it to see how it looks in the photo and also to bring it home and choose an outfit that matches good with the background and setting.

To make great photos you don’t really always me a great camera you need good idea, go to settings you can do them with a smart phone.

Another important thing is not to make photos when it’s too cloudy when it’s cloudy it’s OK but when it’s too cloudy Instagram I think I will read them down unless you’re not putting the background in the picture.

** I discovered with my Instagram, photos where the sky looks blue have more likes and comments.**

And last but not least never take a photo directly with the sunlight hitting you because it will appear very dark that photo it’s not good.

Hey Nany! This is awesome! Great post!

When you say don't take shots with the sunlight directly hitting you... isn't that exactly what you've done with the two skateboarding shots? Your shadow is super clear and it looks amazing. Can you expand on that a little?

Hajaj I will correct that
I meant directly towards the lens. I did this post while having breakfast when the idea pop to my head. ☺️

These are amazing @nanyhasbunn!!

When will we see more posts @nanyhasbunn!

Yes many people get confused many people think they need a lot of gear and the best cameras but when they have it they found out that there is a whole process behind this and preproduction to be made and without following the preproduction and the set up on the script really if you have the best equipment you will find yourself again in an ocean of possibilities but without a strategy.

Thanks I hope this post reaches new creators in the making.

Hi Melanie,

Do you have any fitness photos that you could share with Steem? Sweat pouring, muscles tense - those sort of photos?

We're setting up a Fitness Curation process, and need fitness photos for our weekly posts. If you do have something, could you please add it to the tag, #fitnation-photo?

Thanks so much!

I will I think soon 🙃
