When I first saw this car I admittedly liked it's style. I was a teenager and mentioned it to my mother who must have been a young teen when it first came out. She told me it was the ugliest thing on wheels when it was released. I am sure some of it was leftover bias, because when everybody hates something you risk becoming a laughingstock yourself when you say you like it. That is unless you're the coolest guy in the room and you have enough clout to sway the opinion of the group.
When they decided to use a vertical Grill to be different from other cars they had to make it so large to get enough air to cool the car.
