Went to Palos Verdes for a hike and the views were amazing. There is so much to do and see in this area, you'll defiantly get a good workout in. Parking opens at 9 am and costs $6 for 2hrs, and over 2 hrs is $12. If you want to avoid all that just get there around 8 and you'll find free parking in front of the fire station nearby.

At the bottom of Portuguese point, you'll find the Abalone Cove Ecological Reserve with tide pools and other cool creatures like this starfish. You only really get to see it in low tide though, so be sure to check online when that will be.
If you go back up around where you started from, you'll find Wayfarers Chapel. You'll know you're there when you see these beautiful steps leading up to the Chapel.
It's is honestly so stunning and completely unique, I've never seen a Chapel like this. You're allowed to go inside as well. I just stayed there for a little while and enjoyed the view.
I really enjoyed my trip to Palos Verdes and hope this inspires you to go check it out as well.
