Took some pics on the streets of Kathmandu, especially while putting up posters for the steemit meetup, which was held on the 13th of August, 2016.

Good post! I love traveling and reading about travels, keep posting ;D
Thank You. For more pics of nepal please check my blog :))
Nice photos. Have a great journey
Thank You!
Thanks for sharing. I am curious to know, what is the climate like in Nepal since the earthquake? How have people adjusted back to life since then?
It is limping back to normal, but a few close friends told me things are stuck up because of endemic corruption. I shall be making a pictorial post regarding the reconstruction, but in only one place did I see reconstruction of any kind.
People seem to have adjusted to regular life, but the average guy was miffed that funds from institutions like the UNO have been recieved, but the reconstruction has not yet started due to bureaucratic red tape.
Thanks norbu for the update and sad to hear that even after tragedy, greed continues.
Looking forward to more of your posts.
Ya its a shame, but life moves on! Thanks!
Nice pix! Enjoy your trip.
Thank you! Now that I am back home, I am enjoying sharing these pics with the community.
wow ! very nice :)
Is there any announcement in West Bengal, India ? I think no ........
Thank You. Do you mean announcement for steemit? I guess not as yet in WB, and someone shall have to do it. Kolkata could be a great place for a meetup.
Namaste @norbu, I read your good post about your first Steemit meetup but could not comment there so I write here instead. Have you been in touch with the developers community in Kathmandu? I guess they will be interested in joining Steemit. I have already contacted some friends. Or perhaps you wish to organize another meetup with the help of their community, please read more here meetups in KTM
Namaste! I must clarify that I do not live in Kathmandu. I live in Gangtok, Sikkim and was on a holiday when I thought I should organise the meetup as I had the advantage of a common language.
As you can see from the meetup post it was quite well attended (surprisingly) and we got a few on board. But it would be cool to get developers to join and I am ready to assist in any way I can. Thanks for your comment.
