Kampung Guar Kepayang, Kepala Batas, Seberang Perai is a twin brother in Guar Kepayang, Pendang, Kedah because of the many facts and stories of veterans during interviews. The arrival of the founder of the village, which was formerly known as the 'shit' village by outsiders due to the fact that the pedicab was due to escape from the 'whisper' war between Kedah and Thailand, then known as 'Siam'.
Transplanting with religiously-held chest finally brought a thousand blessings to this village when many outsiders had to make the becak road as a bridge to track Islamic knowledge from some founders. The name of the late Pak Lang Mohamad, who has three children, Wa Tapa, Mr Nordin and Mak Dak Tam, is a respected figure for having high religious knowledge.
Many come to learn from it and produce more religious teachers and the opening of the earliest religious school compared to the surrounding area. In Permatang Sungai Dua there is only a cottage near the mosque and next to the house of Ustaz Moin.
Besides Pak Lang Mohamad, Haji Salleh, Tok Min and several other figures are the main contributors to the development of dawn areas with the activities of planting. For the information of the younger generation, the village was once inhabited by three Chinese families, at the Kampung Tok Oh road, the home of the late Yaacob and near the late Lang Lang's house.
Anyone who has traced the foot to Kampung Guar Kepayang in the early 80's certainly feels the difference after the increase and enlargement of the homes of the people who used to work in the fields.
