So yessss!!! I've got hooked to the mushroom business hard, both in food and photography lol 😜
I ran into this interesting colored shaped 'shroom on yesterdays' weekly photo trip @simba and I go out to.
The interesting Hebrew name (in translation - Judas ears) of the mushroom is connected to the legend that tells of the biblical Judas, after he had betrayed Jesus for thirty shekels money and saw the consequences of his actions, he went to the forest and hanged himself on a tree.
And after his death grew up on the same tree these mushrooms that remind the ears of Judah 🤔🤓.
The mushroom is edible, good for cooking and frying.
It grows in winter and spring months, in groups, on the trunks and branches of many living and dead trees.
Enjoy!
And remember to check 10 times before you enter some 'shroom to your mouth and belly, it could be fatal!!!!
The information in this article is taken from the Internet and therefore should not be relied upon unequivocally. I also do not recommend eating mushrooms without a certain identification by a qualified person with the appropriate equipment for such a test

Old post, but I'm commenting anyways :)
Found it while looking through the posts with #mushrooms. This looks like a mushroom I encountered earlier this week.
It's cool to hear the hebrew lore about them too!
Yup it's the same one as in my pics ☺️
Do you speak hebrew?
