I'm lucky to live just 20 mins away from one of South Africa's most popular but least appreciated national parks. Over a million people have passed through the gates of Cape Point National Park to take a picture at the Cape of Good Hope and the lighthouse on the point but few of them take the time to really explore the park and its wildlife. I took this picture in a place a I call my secret spot. Although it really is no secret and anyone can go there it’s so rarely enjoyed by the tourists on their whistle stop tours ticking off the must see sights.
However, even I have to admit that it was a special treat to have a beautiful bontebok posing in the beach against the azure blue ocean. Let me know if you like as much as I do!
