I just wanted to share this picture I took of the famous Pulitzer Fountain located in front of the Plaza Hotel. It holds a very special place in literary history, as much as the Plaza Hotel itself. F. Scott Fitzgerald (the author of the Great Gatsby) and his spouse, Zelda Fitzgerald, were rumored to have jumped into the fountain to dance after a long night of drinking and partying. It's a shame that when people come to this part of Manhattan it's to go to the Apple Store. Little do they know of the significance of this fountain.
