Hired guard or identity crisis?

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

Maybe this goose was a hired guard; geese are very good at sounding the alarm at the first sign of intruders (ask any Roman).

It could also be that this one had an identity crisis and had joined the wrong group.

We will probably never know.

Interesting shot @ocrdu. Was this taken in the wild or in a deep park?

In a park, of sorts, actually a large area of old countryside they put a fence around. Deer in the wild don't usually let me get this close, guard or no guard 8-).

Awww that is a cute photo!

They are cute, aren't they? And extra cute because they were all sleepy. Except for the goose, of course, it was very alert 8-).
