I was the only odd bird I could see up close but didn't, for want of a mirror. Now I'm not sure anymore if "the odd bird" is a British English colloquialism not understood in the colonies, or that you were being punny.

I think i was being punny. I gotta go now, do one errand. I'll be back on Steemit though, as it appears that I got re-addicted to it. It's all shiny again for some odd reason. Maybe I should get beer, and drunk post. I've never done that before....
