It seemed there was just one species of butterfly around yesterday: the meadow brown (Maniola jurtina), bruin zandoogje in Dutch, seen here on hemp-agrimony aka holy rope (Eupatorium cannabinum), koninginnekruid aka leverkruid in Dutch:
