Mmmmm this looks fantastic. Definitely right up our alley over here. I've been wanting to try out some sort of monkey bread, with all the different pizza and bread dishes I've been making. Love the idea of using everything bagel seasoning!
As for Christmas, we are in the same mindset as you - we wait until everyone is together and then pass out gifts so we can all open them together. When I was a kid, there were a few years where my sister and I woke at some ungodly hour, and my parents decided to just let us open our gifts and join us later. lol I can't really blame them. I definitely prefer to have everyone together for gift opening though. In years past, when the nieces and nephews were getting antsy, waiting for everyone to get up/arrive, we would let everyone open their stockings to tide them over.
