You should look up some editing programs like lightroom. Just need to adjust some basic parameters on that pic and you would see a cool contrast between the leaves and the sky too. Though This pic already looks at least a bit edited, in which case keep working hard because it's looking dope!

Sometimes I add a little saturation and sometimes I go too far.

I do a little editing with the Instagram filters 1st - just a bit of color correction and some contrast.
