Wild Life In Alberta

in #photography7 years ago

Last week I made a couple of posts on nature and winter topic. I think that maybe is a right time to mention also animals. Although they are wild and well equipped and prepared for the winter conditions I believe that they have a hard time to get through the long winter.

Canada is a big country and wild animals are not so shy like in Europe. You still need some patience and luck, but it's much easier to get photos here. In six years I took some interesting shots.

This guy looks old but it must be smart. We meet him at the highway stop. Snack time for us and him.

I never saw coyotes before. They are very shy and always on the run. And noisy, especially at night.

The stud is not afraid. Coyotes are well aware of his hard hoves.

This one has the same job as the black guy in the first photo. It's located in Lake Louise parking lot.

Innocent and harmless.

He is still young and his spikes are soft, but later on, he'll be very dangerous. Check on YT porcupine vs dog. Interesting stuff. I also saw this guy for the first time. It doesn't live in Europe. I was surprised when I read that it lives on the trees.

Very, very cute adorable animal. Until it decides to move into your attic. Then you're done. Be prepared for many sleepless nights.

It may be a good time to buy some crypto coins on sale. But don't come cry to me if they go lower.

Have a great week, my friends.

I live in NYC so I don’t really experience this . All I see is buildings . When I lived upstate , I felt like it was a zoo all around me haha

Excellent photography. Great shot. Keep it up.

You have given us a lot of good information about Wild Animal. Which is really very commendable. I thank you so much for the beautiful post.

The wildlife in Canada is incredible and you do a great job capturing beautiful images of them. My favorites here are the white bird and the coyotes.

Very awesome pictures. We certainly do have a lot of great wildlife here.

Until it decides to move into your attic.

Haha :D That one made me laugh. I can imagine that isn't funny at all for the house inhabitants - human inhabitants that is :D Because the party is in the attic! :D

I don't think i saw coyotes or porcupines even in the zoo's? Don't remember at least.

so cool @oldtimer, I like birds in picture number three, does he also have a unique voice, what's the bird's name?

Great shots! What kind of bird is that black and white one? That squirrel is adorable. 💙

Excellent working

"WOW"I like the pictures of squirrel and the horse!!!! They look so cute!!!
-cheers-

Hello @oldtimer. Is the same fence in all pictures? Must be a place visited by many animals.

I have never seen a white feather crow. Here, where I live are six species of crows. I read that crows are the most intelligent of all bird species, having a good memory. It is said that a crow does not forget the face of a person.

I checked on youtube to see about porcupine vs dog. Wow, poor dogs. But I think that porcupine doesn't attack the dog. The porcupine tries to defend himself from a curious dog.

Sjajne, raznolike fotografije.

Nice scenery in accompanying beautiful bird friend ...

wanderfull topics and photography

The very, very cute adorable animal is also responsible for several cases of bubonic plague in the US every year... Handle at own risk.

fun shots...the crow was old and wise looking ... the coyotes would have been my signal to pack up and leave. lol

Fantastic photos!! The crow is my favorite! 😃
