How do you capture one glimpse of life?
I've always asked myself how do great photographers capture beauty, portraits, and glimpses of stunning scenery and offer them to the world. I wondered how they do it. I guess it's just that one second. One moment when you see it, and then click. Your camera captures it.
From Hanoi to Sapa
We traveled from Hanoi to Sapa (if you follow me on Instagram too you will have seen our cool journey on the sleeper bus) a couple of days ago.
The beauty of these women, their costumes, embroideries, handmade scarfs and other objects is stunning.
Raw beauty
I managed to capture some when we were walking around, but it was all a bit rushed. I don't know, I think the one thing Vietnam means for me is colors smells and things happening everywhere. Everything's a rush. there's cars and motorbikes everywhere, I walk around and try to pay attention but something catches my eye. Always, I just end up looking all over, to the corner shop, to the flowers a woman is selling, to the things on the street, the food, the clothes, it all captivates me.
Flickering moments
So many things are passing by you that I want to see it all. To absorb it all. But then I also want moments, captured with my camera and to which I can look back and say, oh this was such an experience... And remember that day, that walk I had through the town.
These are the humans of Vietnam captured in Sapa, a beautiful little town.
Many more stories to come..:)
