And here's a nice surprise Lady Joan, there's also 4 trees of the famous Adam's fig over here. Looking forward to the jam making sessions. This summer it will be the usual blackberry jam, strawberry jam, plum jam, apricot jam and now Adam's fig jam.
The difficulty in farming fruit such as apples is that they are very finicky and the weather is on every farmers lips. Severe changes means spoilt crops, but thus far, apart from one orchard here with boll worms, everything seems to be on track. The farmers are clever, as they split all of their orchards into different sections, just in case some pests invade an orchard. Said invaded orchard are then isolated and treated to stem the tide!
